Old Montreal (known in French as le Vieux Montréal) is a major tourism hub for the Island of Montreal, especially in the summertime. Montreal's oldest street, Rue Saint-Paul, can be found here. The area is filled with shops and high-end restaurants and hotels, and car traffic is heavily limited during the summer months.
