Every summer in the Place Émilie-Gamelin, the Jardins Gamelin biergarten sets up shop. It serves food and beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to thousands of people every year. Shows have even taken place in the area, notably during the Montreal Pride festival due to the Jardins Gamelin and the nearby Berri-UQAM station being only a few feet away from The Village.
