This large mall in downtown Montreal is home to the largest food court in North America and the Musée Grévin wax museum formerly occupied the top floor. It is owned and managed by Ivanhoé Cambridge. In 2018, the mall acquired the former Complexe Les Ailes mall situated right next to it and the newly acquired property retained the Centre Eaton de Montréal name. Previously, this mall was known as the Simpson's department store, whereas Complexe Les Ailes was formerly the Eaton's department store.
The mall is connected to Promenades Cathédrale, Place Ville Marie, Place Montréal Trust, Carrefour Industrielle Alliance and Les Cours Mont-Royal via the Underground City.
